What we've funded

School Oven

To accompany the recently refurbished kitchen, our funding helped buy a new school oven, which is used for cooking activities and food-based learning.

Picnic Benches

We funded five new picnic benches for the playground, creating a welcoming space for outdoor learning, socialising, and snack breaks. These have become a firm favourite with the children and support our goal of making outdoor areas more inclusive and functional.

iPads

We contributed to the purchase of iPads to support digital learning in the classroom. These devices help children build confidence with technology and enhance lessons with interactive, educational apps, keeping learning fun, modern, and engaging.

Funding Goals 25'-26'

We've got big fundraising goals. You've asked, we've listened. A lot of your feedback on how we can best utilise the funds raised directly corresponds with our goals. A goal we as a group set last year, was to improve and expand the outdoor learning spaces. We knew this wouldn't be a fast feat as we are a small school with limited resources for raising funds. The first step in achieving our goal was to purchase 5 new picnic benches, allowing our students to eat their lunches outside, socialise and rest. But we aren't stopping there. We have plans for new, bigger and better events to help us push that needle even closer.

Some of the expanded outdoor learning spaces we've explored include a structure over the early years outdoor teaching space, allowing our youngest students to take full advantage of resources no matter the weather. We have also looked at how we can improve our forest school teaching area with new equipment and better shelter. Above all else, we are painfully aware of the restrictions for teaching space inside our small school and would ultimately love to be able to fund or support funding for additional structures that could be used as class rooms or sports halls.

With that said, we're also here to create some fun for our lovely students. We do that by introducing things like ice-cream Fridays, hosting discos and movie nights, supporting the year 3 performance with pizza, and so much more.

While it may not always look like much, we are always doing our best to raise funds that will directly support our students, our school, our staff and our families. If you or someone you know can help or would like to share any ideas on how we can maximise our efforts, please don't hesitate to drop us an email or grab us on the school yard.
